In my view the meaning of word pollution means to make things dirty. In the good olden days we even don't know what is pollution. It happened to be effected from the evolution of technology and implementing machinery which causes damage to the atmosphere. It also made lot of changes in nature. Pollution mainly affects the ozone layer, the chemical reactions undertake in atmosphere leads to critical damage and depletion of ozone layer happens due to this pollution. We already know that ozone layer is to protect against harmful radiations. But the depletion of ozone layer causes many health problems in living organisms. It leads to acid rains.
Pollution started from the medieval age because they started inventing new devices. For example at early ages the people used to travel from one place to another place through their own legs or with the help of some animals like horse, camel etc. But after few years the people started inventing new devices which inversely effected atmosphere. Invention of train in that period was a big achievement to scientist. They used coal to start and run train from one place to another place. This vehicle was very useful to travel for large distances. By burning coal the train engine started, but the air got polluted with this vehicle. People also enjoyed travelling without any efforts. So invention of new automobiles and many vehicles started from that period and even now the invention continued. We cannot blame the people who invented things but we should blame the people who won't use them in appropriate way.
The waste materials created by the human beings pollute the natural resources like air, water or soil etc. The pollutants can be poisonous gases, pesticides, noise, organic compounds and other materials.The air we breathe every moment causes several lung diseases. So we should be very careful and follow many tips and precautions to get rid of pollutants.
Pollution is divided into many categories. Air pollution, soil pollution, water pollution, noise pollution, etc are main categories. Natural resources getting affected by this pollution alot. Rate of pollution is increasing due to the selfishness of the human being to earn more money and to fulfil some unnecessary wishes. In this modern age the people give more priority to the technology, everyone has forgotten about the nature and started disturbing nature.We have no safe water to drink, pure air to breathe and pollution free land to crop. This widely spreading pollution should be taken under control for the healthy survival of human life for our better future.
In the present situation we cannot stop pollution but we have a possibility to reduce the pollution with some regular precautions. We should stop deforestation. Planting more and more trees helps the nature to maintain the atmosphere to fight with critical pollutants.
