The word corruption is very familiar to us. Because in some of the countries it had been habituated by most of the people. No one in this universe born to do bad. But the situations make them worse and they go bad. Corruption mainly started while the people doesn't satisfy with their work. Some of them might be selfish and they become habitual for all of these bad activities. However, people suffering from any problem, disease, etc should keep patience and trust on themselves and never do anything bad in life. As, one negative step of anyone may harm the lives of many people. We are not a single member on this earth, there are many like us, so we should think a little about others and live life happily and peacefully with positive thoughts.
Now-a-days, lots of benefits are given by the government of India to the poor people with various rules and regulations to bring awareness among people. However, poor people are not getting benefited of those advantages given by the government as many officers doing corruption secretly in between them before reaching to the poor people. They are doing this corruption against law for just fulfilling their own pockets with money.
Take an example to distinguish how corruption scenario takes place:
- In one situation a person on a bike crossed the signal and he continued. Traffic police had a clear picture and stopped him. The person paid some money to that traffic police officer and started continuing his journey.
- In the other situation a person on a bike crossed the signal and he continued. The traffic police went to that person and blocked his vehicle. He took the person's vehicle to the police station. After some procedure the person got his bike. Then he continued his journey
In the first case by paying some money the person easily got his bike while in the other case it had taken long procedure to get his bike. Here time is the main factor in the both cases.So people like paying money and finding thinks done to be in the easy way. Here in the first case both people made mistake but in the second scenario traffic police done with his duty. So the government also should maintain some rules to find easy solutions for the people so they can follow rules perfectly.
There are many causes of corruption in the society. During election time, corruption become at its highest peak. Political leaders make programmes and policies to gain some attention from the public. Some of the political leaders make promises to the people and they just leave their promises after winning in the election. They just wishing to be famous politician for fulfilling their own interests instead of people's interests and requirement. The level of trust, faith and honesty is decreasing which gives rise to the corruption. 
There is a lack of strong public group in the society in order to oppose and restrict the corruption. Illiteracy in rural areas, poor economic status etc are the reasons of raise of corruption in the public life. Low salaries for the government employees force them towards corruption. The people also got attracted to this corruption so that they can easily skip the legal issuses in our present society. Strict laws and procedures of the government changed the mood of people to get any type of help from government employees by solving them with some gifts.
